It's the absolutely softest cotton we've found in this size catagory. Ideal for baby clothes and blankets as well as super-comfort tops, sweaters and even skirts.

Machine knitters rave about using Cotton Tail 8/4. On a standard machine knit at stitch size 9 or 10; with 7-8 sts and 11-12 rows/inch. Midgauge single strand size 4 or 5 or double strand stitch size 8.

This yarn hand knits beautifully in stockinette, fairisle, tuck or slip stitch.

Handweavers love to mix and match this with our 8/2 cotton, Aurora Earth.
