Playing With Huck Towels     
Huck floats serve a useful purpose in towels which increase the surface area of the fiber providing a super absorbent fabric.

Floats have aesthetic advantages too. They reflect more light than plain weave, which makes them appear brighter and more lustrous, and they allow warp and weft threads to slip from the rigid alignment of plain weave into graceful curves and rounded shapes.

Yarns: Softspun 10/2 100% mercerized cotton

Finished size: five hemmed towels 15" by 26" each

Equipment needed: 4-shaft loom; 12 dent reed; 17 1/2 weaving width
