Christmas Rosepath Towels (8-Shaft)     

This 8-shaft rosepath threading can produce a wide variety of woven patterns to decorate a basic white towel, such as friendly Old St Nick and Christmas trees for the perfect holiday towels.

Weave these motifs as borders for decorative towels to give as gifts or for guests during the holidays.

Yarns: Softspun 10/2 100% mercerized cotton

Finished sizes: four towels 21” x 29” each with 3/4" hems.

Equipment needed: 8 shaft loom; 12 dent reed

Sett: epi 24; ppi 20 in plain weave areas, 38 in pattern areas (19 tabby and 19 pattern); width in reed 22 3/4; woven in supplementary weft patterning on a plain weave ground.
