Pacific Waves Scarves in Bambu & Tencel (8-shaft)     

Weave two scarves that capture the constantly changing colors and movement of the Pacific Ocean!

The sumptuous appearance of ocean colors are so vividly displayed.

Yarns: Tencel and Bambu 12.

Weave structure: Collapse weave structure is used with the first scarf creating pleats or furrows in the fabric producing a scarf measuring 4" x 67 1/2" plus 4" twisted fringe. Then on the same warp, weave a plain weave scarf that measures 8 1/2 x 70" with a 4 inch twisted fringe.

Equipment needed: 8 shaft loom, 10" weaving width, 15-dent reed.
