These Skip-a-Slot Placemats will be featured in Liz Gipson's next Yarnworker.com Weave-A-Long


Skip-A-Slot Placemat Yarns
They are woven using our thick Pearly Perle 3/2 . They're fun to weave in a variety of light and dark soft pastels. Available in colors shown. You can however design your own by ordering a cone each of our Pearly Perle 3/2 Mini Cones.



Skip-A-Slot Technique
By skipping a slot every so often, you allow the weft to pop in these warp-dominated placemats without using a pick-up stick. The texture is created by alternating thick and thin picks and beating with a firm hand.
