Christmas Overshot Runner & Ornaments     

Decorate you holiday table, sideboard or dresser with this festive overshot table runner. Warp stripes and weft bands coordinate with the threading and treadling blocks so that the overshot elements are centered on blocks of red, green and a mixture of the two colors.

Then with the leftover fabric create 10-12 stuffed holiday ornaments to give, hang on the tree, in a doorway with a sprig of mistletoe or adorn a holiday gift.

Yarns: We've substituted elegant Bambu 7 for the silk called for in the instructions with outstanding results. 10/2 Pearly Perle is used for the weft and tabby.

Equipment: 4 shaft loom; 16" weaving width; 10 dent reed at 20 epi.
