Warping with Chenille
Always pull chenille yarn from center of ball.
Don't worry if chenille seems to twist when winding your warp.
If winding more than one color at a time, keep balls separate by placing in bowls or on a cone holder. Keep chenille yarns seperate in the threading cross.
When warping colors in random order, make the selvedge edge threads the same color as the weft yarn.
When beaming use tension to keep warp yarns in control. Do not "comb" your warp.
Sett chenille at 15 e.p.i. by sleying 2-1-2-1 in a 10-dent reed or 2-3-2-3 in a 6-dent reed. Setting at 16 e.p.i in an 8-dent reed is ok too, but remember that your weaving width will be less.
