Warping To Achieve Double Threads in Slots and Holes
Tie your warp yarn onto the back beam, then thread it through the slot. When the thread goes through the slot it automatically makes it a double thread.
Carry this double thread to your warping peg. You then walk back to the back of your loom and go through the same slot with another double thread.
Once again carry this double thread to your warping peg. You will now have four threads in the first slot. Repeat this process following the warp order chart.
After you get all the warp threaded across the heddle, wind the yarns onto the back beam. Now you are ready to transfer two of the threads into the holes. Be sure to still follow the warp order when transferring the threads into the holes.
You should end up having two threads in each slot and two threads in each hole.
