EZ Dye 10/2 Cotton is a new cotton yarn that needs no mordants or other auxiliaries applied before dyeing.
Instead of including a commercially spun unmercerized 10/2 cotton, we include enough Easy-to-Spin Pima Sliver for you to spin your own 10/2 cotton! Spin two very fine singles and ply or just spin an equivalent singles.
What's so fun about this kit is that after you spin the untreated Easy-to-Spin Pima Sliver, warp it with the EZ Dye 10/2 Cotton in a Log Cabin pattern and dye the finished fabric, the treated EZ Dye fibers will accept the dye, whereas the untreated will not and the resulting finished fabric is a dyed and undyed log cabin design!
This kit includes all the EZ Dye 10/2 Cotton and untreated Easy-to-Spin Pima Sliver for you to spin a 10/2 yarn, a color (choose below) of our non-toxic liquid dyes Botanical Colors and 10/2 black yarn for outline borders along with all the instructions (with tips & hints) for warping, weaving, finishing and dying instructions you'll need to complete 6 or 12 napkins, 15.5" square!

This is just the beginning of our EZ-Dye kit series. Imagine baby blankets, shawls, jackets that can be quickly woven without color. Once you know what color you want your log cabin or shadow weave project, you simply dye it! Presto!
