You’ll find that these two shawls are quick, easy pieces that allow a lot of opportunity for creative colorplay.
If you are a new weaver, these shawls are a fairly foolproof, frustration free learning experience, a rewarding first lesson in color blending and its joys.
Woven in Cotton Fine, the perfect cotton and wool blend.
You’ll need a rigid-heddle loom or a shaft loom with a weaving width of 31"; 10 dent reed. Since some rigid-heddle looms are narrower than this, you can weave these shawls at whatever width your loom will provide.
Fabric description: Plain weave.
Finished dimensions: Two shawls 24" by 68" each plus 5" fringe on each end.
