Cottonwood Leaf Towels (8-Shaft)

The graceful curve of a cottonwood leaf inspired this undulating twill pattern. Warp and weft colors reflect the leaves, bark and twigs of a cottonwood tree in early spring.

Weave either a set of two or four towels on an 8-shaft loom, using our Aurora Earth, and Cottolin yarns. (please note that the flake cotton in the instructions is no longer available)

Each Towel measures 15.5 x 24.5 with rolled hems.

These towels are designed for an 8 shaft loom; EPI 24; PPI 18; width in reed 17 3/4; woven in undulating twill with straight twill borders.

You will need Handwoven's Top Ten Towels On Eight Shafts: A Project Collection or the Handwoven January/February 1998 for complete instructions.
