Weave dazzling, colorful, musical towels. What makes these colorful towels so unique is that the color sequences are based on musical scores. Each note is assigned a color. The number of successive threads in a color is derived from whether the note is a whole, half, quarter, eighth, or sixteenth note (one thread is assigned to the sixteenth notes). Very cool!
The color orders for this towel are derived from the first movement of Mozart’s Jupiter Symphony. For more about translating music into color sequences, see “Musical Color Wheels for Silk Scarves,” Handwoven, September/October 2000, pages 48–51).
