North Light Meets Southwest Towels
This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these North Light Meets Southwest Towels that were designed by Lyla Agius for Handwoven, May/June 2020, pages 26–28.
Weave a set of contemporary towels in a Southwest color theme.
Weave Structure: Twill
Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 cottons, Rust, Turk, Jade, Silver and Natural
We have made similar substitutions in the Maurice Brassard 8/2 cotton yarns from the original pattern.
Equipment needed: 8-shaft Loom; 21” weaving width; 10 dent reed; 1 shuttle; 3 bobbins
Finished Dimensions: 4 towels 16" × 25.5" hemmed
