This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Exchange Napkins that were designed by Julie Hurd for Handwoven, May/June 2010, pages 34-36.

Weave 12 napkins on one warp!

These napkins were designed from members of a study group to provide teaching and learning new techniques. 

The designers include Marti McIntyre, Linda Van Andel, Janice Cook, Julie Hurd, Sandy Bragg, Bert McDonald, Lucy Stolt, Jackie Bolinger, Carol Book, Diane Strzelinski, Mary Campbell, and Holly Shaltz.

There are four weave structures to experience.  Such a great idea that will get you started with your own napkin exchange!

Each kit comes with Natural and the color of your choice.  We have listed four color choices, but we can offer this kit in any of our Aurora Earth colors.  Just send us an email if you would like an optional color.

Weave Structures:  Huck Lace, Snowflake Twill, Spot Bronson and Huckaback Variation

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 100% unmercerized cotton.

Equipment Needed: 4 or 8-shaft loom; 20" weaving width; 12-dent reed; one shuttle.

Finished size:  twelve hemmed napkins 14-16" square

Note:  This kit includes all yarns needed to weave these napkins.  The pattern can be found in the Handwoven magazine noted above.  You will need to purchase this magazine if you don't already own a copy.
