Brown Paper Packages Tea Towels

This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave these Brown Paper Packages Tea Towels that are designed by Tammy Bast, The Rogue Weaver.

Your handwovens have so many uses. Table runners, food covers, basket liners, wrapping material, bathroom hand towels, hostess gifts, and of course, since they are so washable, cleaning up messes!

This set of towels are designed with the beginner in mind.  They are perfect for the upcoming holiday season too! 

Weave structure: plain weave 

Yarns: Aurora Earth 8/2 Cottons in polo tan, lipstick, and dark green. 
Note: This kit will make towels a lighter brown than what is shown in the picture.

Equipment needed: rigid heddle loom; 24" weaving width; 12 or 12.5 dent reed; 3 shuttles.

Note: Instructions are included in the pattern for reducing the width to 20” and the option to use a 10 dent reed.

Finished size:  two generously sized towels 18” x 26” hemmed.
