This weaving kit includes all the yarns needed to weave this Blue Circling Embers Scarf that was designed by Annette Swan Schipf for Handwoven, Nov/Dec 2021, pages 48–49.

We love how the weave structure of honeycomb creates rounded medallions and although honeycomb is normally used for home décor, this project uses yarns and setts that make it possible to use this structure for a scarf.

Yarns: 8/2 Tencel and Bambu 7 Variegated

Equipment needed: 8-shaft loom; 10" weaving width; 12-dent reed; 3 shuttles; 3 bobbins

Finished size: 8" × 72" plus 7" fringe.

Instructions needed: Handwoven Nov/Dec 2021 magazine from Long Thread Media.
