Yes, it's made from bamboo, a renewable resource grown without pesticides or fertilizers and processed much like rayon yarns.

It is similar in size to a 10/2 cotton fine weight yarn with a resemblance of silk.
Ideal for fine gauge machine knitting (double-bed) and weaving.

Bambu 12 Color Cards are available with yarn samples of every color. These color cards are helpful when looking for a precise color. The color card collection also serves as a color reference and library to stimulate design ideas.
The care instructions vary depending on the item. We have found great success with machine wash and dry. The Bamboo Baby Blanket for example has been laundered many times over without any problems. We recommend machine wash in warm water on a gentle cycle with mild detergent. Machine dry, low. Press with a cool iron, using a press cloth.
If you are weaving a scarf with fringe or an intricate table runner you may prefer to hand wash.
